Crab Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 1 Kilogram Crab
  • 1 1 Tablespoon Chilli powder
  • 1 1 Teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 3 3 Cups Coconut ground
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Tomato
  • 4 Green chilli
  • 1 1 Piece Ginger
  • A few Curry leaves
  • 50 50 Grams Kudampuli (soaked in a glass of water)
  • 2 2 Tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 1 1 Teaspoon Mustard
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare the crabs. Grind item no.2. Pour oil in pan, splutter mustard and fry item no. 3 one by one.

  2. Mix the ground masala of item no. 2 with the tamarind juice and add it to the pan. Add crabs and mix well.

  3. Cook for 10 minutes and serve hot with rice.
