Ingredients

  • 1 1 Cup Vermicilli
  • 1 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 2 Cups Cocunut Milk
  • 3 3 Teaspoons Butter/Ghee
  • 20 Raisins
  • 15 Cashew
  • 5 Cardamom Pods
  • 2 2 Teaspoons Barley
  • 3/4 3/4 Cups Water

Instructions

  1. Fry vermicelli in ghee for two minutes. Boil water separately and add vermicelli to it. Once the vermicelli is cooked add the sugar to and stir well till the sugar dissolves completely. Fry cashew & raisins in ghee and add to the cooked vermicelli. Add powdered cardamom and stir well for one minute. Remove from the flame and then add milk. Mix well. Serve hot or chilled.

    (one can also use ordinary milk also)
